In 1780s London, it is not just the living who are prey to criminals and cutpurses. Corpses, too, are fair game - dug up from fresh graves and sold to unscrupulous men of science. Published in January 1922, The Secret Adversary is the second detective fiction novel by British crime novelist Agatha Christie.
