There is a day in March when people of Irish descent, in whole or part, and those who just wish to partake of the Shamrock Isle’s legendary hospitality, come together the world over to celebrate the world’s most popular national festival: St Patrick’s day. That day is March 17th, the traditional anniversary of his death in 561. Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and is acknowledged as the one who brought Christianity to its shores and drove out the snakes.

It’s Christmas Eve and Little Elf is thrilled to join the other elves in Santa’s workshop for the first year ever. And he’s even more excited to read out the very last letter to Santa, but all it takes is one little slip on the slidey ice and Little Elf drops the letter! Saint David's Day, or the Feast of Saint David falls on the 1st March each year on the anniversary of his death in 589 AD. The feast has been regularly celebrated since his canonisation in the 12th century.

In this fourth story of the series, Frizzy, one of Santa's Izzy Elves, styles the hair of Christmas dollies, but misses them dreadfully when Santa takes them away on Christmas Eve.
