The Second Challenge is pushing them to the brink of losing all they hold dear, Dungeons, and they must be conquered or they all will unleash their denizens across the entire World of Erebus. Bronze Dungeons are what's on the table and they seem beyond what they can tackle but do so they must, at only Iron, and it will take cooperation amongst allies and enemies both. They know they will need one eye open for treachery hangs upon the edge of every path Gideon can see. The cost will be higher than he'd ever want or choose. People were going to die, it was inevitable.

Devon Walker has had it rough lately. She kinda saved the game world - or, at least, earned the citizens of Aventalia a small respite from the demon attacks - but the wild magic she used had some devastating consequences, starting with a shattered landscape and the apparent vanishing of her settlement. This would usually result in Sapient Deconstruction, but Ivey saved him by gifting part of her interface. It allowed Daniel to keep his sanity. Together they formed a team and fought up the tower in a series of bloody battles relying on Daniel ingenuity to create traps to adjust the battlefield to their advantage. Via morse code they were made aware that there was a small group of survivors on the top floor who were in a stalemate with a deadly monster.
