We often think of AI in terms of futuristic robots with glowing eyes or walking, talking machines that look and act like humans. That’s the image many movies and books give us, and while that vision is fascinating, it’s only a tiny slice of what AI actually is. In real life, AI is less about building androids and more about designing systems that can learn, reason, and adapt—traits we usually associate with human intelligence. It’s about creating software and machines that can recognize patterns, make decisions, and even improve themselves over time through experience.

For Minnesota students Tasha and Gabe, the current school year is anything but normal. Stuck at home in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two struggle to deal with the drastic changes brought on by stay-at-home orders, as well as tough but honest conversations about the racial injustice that shook their community. Though different ages and backgrounds, Tasha and Gabe form an unlikely friendship that helps them move forward in a seemingly impossible year. What starts out as a journey to survive the school year ultimately leads down the path of unexpected opportunities.

As if being a teenager isn't hard enough...Can you imagine how it feels to wake up one day and find out that you are not who you thought you were? If you're anything like me, you know it's hard enough trying to fit in - in high school - without having to deal with the knowledge that your dad is an alien part of the time. I don't even get how you can be an alien part of the time....Not to mention all of the crazy new alien gifts you really wish you could return. Oh well, at least I have an explanation for the blue hair. Could life get any crazier?

Are you sick and tired to go on a diet only to feel miserable and fatter than before? Do you promise yourself - every summer - that next summer (no matter what!) it's going to be different, and it never is? Let me tell you that it is possible to lose weight and be happy. You can get that self-love that will attract in your life everything you desire and deserve the most.

But to have that kind of bombshell dropped on you, and then - to have your Dad ditch you - leaving you to figure stuff out all by yourself, with a Mom you can’t tell anything about what’s going on...and school enemies lurking around unexpected corners. I mean...come on. It’s summer!
