Pioneer Days in the Southwest from 1850 to 1879 is an anthology of memoirs by pioneers of the region. The book contains accounts by Emanuel Dubbs , John A. Hart and Charles Goodnight, the famous cattle rancher who was also known as the "father of the Texas Panhandle”.
