Medical Psychological Thriller

Zack Tripler, a psychiatrist, admits to the hospital Youssef al Saud, an agitated young Saudi American, in the midst of what appears to be a psychotic break. Youssef has been hearing voices and was found hiding with his laptop in the woods from unidentified assailants whom he believes are trying to kill him. He’s found coded messages on the laptop that he suspects portend a terrorist plot.

Dr. Evelyn Hart has spent her life untangling the darkest corners of people’s minds. A respected therapist, she thrives on structure, boundaries, and control. But when a patient arrives—one with no records, no name, and a knowledge of Evelyn’s buried past—her carefully constructed world begins to unravel. The woman knows secrets Evelyn has never spoken aloud. She recalls memories Evelyn has tried to erase. And with every session, the line between doctor and patient dissolves. And Evelyn can no longer trust the one person she has always relied on—herself.
