John Nelson Darby was an Anglo-Irish Bible teacher associated with the early years of the Plymouth Brethren. In 1867, he produced a literal English version of the New Testament. Unfortunately, when some people read the phrase “end of the world”, they envision cataclysmic scenarios that involve apocalyptic doom and global destruction.
