New Memoirs

Hi everyone! I learned old-school, where it’s a quick death, if you turn in dead pages. Each page is intense or maximum FUN! I’ve been writing for many years. I’ve written film screenplays, scripts, magazine articles, advertising copy, and I’ve worked in the entertainment business for over three decades. I believe that one’s imagination is key to living live alive. My work hopefully, will stimulate your active imaginations.

This book begins with my hard-won freedom, as a divorced woman, by starting my new life in the Highlands area of Louisville – the neighborhood of my dreams. Many women were striking out on their own, at this time. I was eager to join them. As the generation that took women out of the home and into the workplace, our Silent Generation needed more skills in setting boundaries, and taking up for ourselves.

After decades as a long-haul trucker, Finn Murphy left the road and settled in Boulder County, Colorado. Before long he noticed that many of his neighbors were captivated by the prospect of vast riches in “the Hemp Space.” When hemp was legalized, after eighty years in federal exile, Colorado became the center of a hemp growing and processing boom.
