Online Ministry

In the early Church, only disciples were known. Those who belonged to the Lord Jesus were called “Disciples”. Who is a disciple? The Lord Jesus intended that everyone who is led to him, and who therefore knows him personally and is dynamically related to him, should enroll in the school of a Disciple Maker who will make him into a Disciple, which means somebody committed not only to be like Christ, but also to bring others to be like Christ.

The Lord has wrought something in my life between 1990 and today, largely in the area of deliverance from sin, deliverance from self, deliverance from the love of the world, deliverance from the love of the things of the world, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the knowledge of the Lord. I now feel that I can write the book, though with fear and trembling, and not from a position of perfection, but from the position of one who has received unmerited grace to write it.

This audiobook, The Way of Life, being the first book in the series, has, as its theme, the way into the Christian life, the way into Jesus Christ, the way into God: the way of life. It is written specially to help you to find the Lord Jesus, give yourself to Him, and then, you will truly begin to live. As you begin to listen, we encourage you to press on right to the end and also answer all the questions at the end of each chapter.

People must be led. When there is a leader, he is followed. The spiritual leader is the one who has made the most progress in knowing God and is serving Him. Such a person has authority with God which no one can take away from him. No one can remove him from leadership. No one can put him into leadership. His intimate knowledge of God, his close walk with Him, his sacrificial service for the Lord and His people, put him apart from the others, and those who want true spiritual leadership turn to him. This is my understanding of spiritual leadership.

Persecution is what one receives for loving the Lord and for serving him as he ought to be served. Persecution is a must for all who are true to the Lord. There is no way by which they can run away from it and remain true to their Lord.

Christian character is all-important. The Lord Jesus wants all his disciples to be like him in their character. He has put the Holy Spirit in each believer to work out that character. Only those whose character conforms in every way to that of the Lord Jesus can be said to be truly, entirely sanctified. This audiobook is about the character of Christ in the life of the Christian. We send it out with prayer that the almighty father should use it to work out the character of his begotten son in his adopted sons.

The contents of this book are fundamental. God calls all who are his to a sanctified life. The life of a believer in which sin reigns is subnormal. Howe­ver, many believers find themselves bound by sin. They are like Lazarus walking out of the tomb with life, but in bonda­ge.

This booklet is of vital necessity. You cannot ignore it if you want to live the Spirit-filled life. You will find the description of the condition of the human heart. God desires and expects to fill with His Spirit and power each person who is saved. This expectation of the Lord must meet the cooperation of the believer to remove from his heart and from his life all the things that fill his heart and his life preventing him from being filled with the Holy Spirit. You will find in this booklet a list of these things. Go through them and let God find a path into your heart.

In the world, people look at success principally from the angle of what a person has done. What he is, is of secondary importance. In the kingdom of God, who a person is is crucial and what he does is only an overflow of what he is. God looks at success, first of all, from the point of who we are and only secondarily from what we do. Overcomers are people who, constantly facing choices between satisfying God or satisfying self, choose to satisfy God. Those who continue as overcomers are those who make God their consistent choice. By their consistent choice of the Lord (which also means that they consistently reject the wicked one), they satisfy God’s heart and make themselves the object of hell’s greatest fury and heaven’s greatest joy. This audiobook goes out with the prayer that the Lord of glory should produce many overcomers in His Church.

The Lord has a wonderful plan for you. He has purposed great things for you. Regardless of what you were and what you did as an unbeliever; regardless of the sins you have committed since you believed; regardless of your failure and unfaithfulness of the past; regardless of your having denied Him in the past, you can still rise and enter in His fullness, for no failure in the past or present needs to be final. You can turn to Him today and He will receive you and work out His great purpose for you.

God, as the Creator of man, has given every member of the human race a talent or talents with which to function in his universe. You have a talent! Every human being has a talent. Some human beings have many talents, but there is no human being without a talent.

I am burdened by the increasing numbers of believers who know the Lord very superficially. They do not love Him. They find the time spent in His presence uninteresting. Often they do not know what to say to Him. We believe that when believers, in an increasing number, begin to withdraw and spend time alone in God's presence, something will happen to them. They will know God and then they will seek Him more and more. They will serve Him from His presence and things will be different. They will make spiritual progress.
