In the western culture we now have a 40 percent incidence of obesity, prediabetes, and Type 2 diabetes. I have written books explaining how this happened, how to prevent it, and how to manage it. I realized this was incomplete as now we have over 30 percent of children with obesity. Fat newborns have an increased risk of eventual development of obesity and subsequent type two diabetes.
