You expect to read about healing in the Bible, but the way some of them occurred were not only awesome but extremely unusual. One that came to mind again is found in Mark 8 where Jesus spat on the man’s eye first before putting his hands on him (the other time spit was used which can be found in Mark 7:33). My daughter asked me why Jesus chose to heal in this particular way. Though I do not know why since spitting on someone’s face is considered an insult under the Old Testament - of course Jesus was not insulting the man.
