What is an entrepreneur? In the strictest sense of the word, an entrepreneur is someone who creates and runs a new business. These are the risk takers, the people who are willing to think outside of the proverbial box and push themselves to attain something new. Yet a true entrepreneur is more than simply a business owner. Most entrepreneurs are born with an innate desire to do something great, to become something more or to lead others to greatness.

Starting your own business can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re a beginner and have no prior experience. But it doesn’t have to be intimidating, and you definitely don’t need a business degree in order to have a successful business. Many people dream of having their own business for different reasons.

Everyone would like to see more customers, qualified leads, and income. However, starting your own business isn't one of the "if you construct it, they'll follow" circumstances. A lot of the process involved in getting a new business off the ground is determined by timing and planning. Then there's the market. You should consider whether the economic circumstances are favorable to launch an enterprise and whether you can enter markets with your product successfully.
