Religious Cults

Simon was a monk, a priest, and later an abbot. Finally, he was a consecrated bishop of the Eastern Church, ordained before he graduated from high school. He came from a Slavic background and acquired a wide knowledge of numerous foreign languages, such as French, Italian, Spanish, Slavonic, Greek, Latin, and Mandarin Chinese.

Religion, cults, brainwashing, and pyramid schemes are just a few terms that one could use in a debate about cults. The term cult first originated from a religious source, and this may have not been a bad thing. The Jewish religion is still a strong mainstream religious cult, no pun intended, as it was in biblical times. This allows us to associate today's cults with the very first cult ever documented.
