After four hundred years of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites are prepared to enter the land of Canaan. There’s only one problem: It’s crawling with giants. They’re the Seed of the Serpent with many clans: Anakim, Rephaim, Zuzim and others. Two Israelites, Joshua and Caleb, have the faith to lead Israel against these monsters.

Since forming in 2008, Mark Grist and MC Mixy have been challenging the preconceptions of poetry and hiphop across the country. This audio was recorded at the Soho Theatre in London in 2012, during their third national tour, titled 'Anywhere and Everywhere'. During the tour the pair performed in schools, pubs, nightclubs, office blocks, market places, theatres, parks, taxi cabs, sitting rooms and universities across the country.

These poems are paeans to our facility for duplicity and self-deception, in which the act of living is like a movie we're not in.
