My pain of sexual abuse did not really kick in till later in life. In the audiobook, you will discover my darkest secret that most of my family do not know to this day. I chose to open up my abuse in the church not to shame the Christian faith, as I have since returned to God and found Christ, but to help victims of sexual abuse and give them hope. This is as real as I can write, and tears are falling off my eyes right now. The pain goes deep, and even now, I wonder what better boyfriend and husband I could have been if I had not been taken advantage of in the church.
