This version of Shakespeare's classic comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor is adapted to plain English. This is one of Shakespeare's comedies first published in the early 1600s. This adaptation is simplified in plain English and targeted at a younger audience. The plot tells the story of the romantic aspirations of the greedy and immoral Falstaff as he pursues the attentions of multiple women. Various plots are launched to try and foil his plans.

Shakespeare for Kids adapts the timeless works of Shakespeare into plain English for a younger audience. This story is that of the end of King Richard II's reign during the late 1300s. It is a story of plotting and power, and the first of Shakespeare's four plays about the house of Lancaster. He is companion to Prince Hal (the future Henry V), who loves him, goads him, teases him, indulges his vast appetites, and commits all sorts of mischief with him.
