The grace of Jesus, free and everlasting, isn't diminished by iniquity but is inclined toward the afflicted. The Savior, who was tempted but never sinned, shows tender affection for sinners. And in the book of John, when Jesus spoke of his coming ascension to heaven, he didn't focus on his own glory; he promised to remain close to believers, interceding for them from heaven.
