Space Colony

Aboard the ancient space ship, Max and Snow flee the parties hunting for them, and continue their quest to uncover the truth about their people. The chase continues across space and multiple planets.

Max is completing a survey in the barren, frozen north of planet Grailliyn, when he makes a startling discovery. There's a high-tech pod buried beneath the ice, and inside the pod is a young woman. She speaks his language, but with a strange accent. The two are barely past awkward introductions when they are attacked. Max and his new friend are forced to flee. The worst part? They don't even know who is trying to kill them, or why.

We expected Mars to be an escape, not a trap. A crimson, blasted, frigid trap. Maybe humans were lucky to leave Earth as cowards...or maybe they should have died trying to save it from the aliens. Bern Ober is on a discrete mission to the Evron starsystem of the breakaway Distan Colonies to gain support for a band of revolutionaries in the Terran Republic. It is a dangerous mission, but he is a dangerous man. When Terran operatives capture him, Lady Fortini hires a reluctant smuggler and her starship, the Ice Duchess, to run the Terran blockade and collect him.
