L'Église de Corinthe est ainsi le témoignage vivant de la réussite de son ministère.

La "1ère épître de Pierre" est un livre du Nouveau Testament rédigé en grec. L'auteur s'identifie dans l'incipit comme "Pierre, apôtre de Jésus-Christ". L'épître, adressée aux communautés chrétiennes d'Asie Mineure, est écrite de "Babylone ".

L'"Épître aux Colossiens" est un livre du Nouveau Testament. Selon la tradition chrétienne, cette lettre fut envoyée par l'apôtre Paul à l'Église de Colosses. La ville de Colosses a été détruite par un tremblement de terre au début de l'an 60. C'est une lettre écrite aux Colossiens après la visite d'Épaphras, évangélisateur de l'Église de Colosses. Épaphras dit à Paul que les Colossiens tombaient dans une grave erreur : ils pensaient qu'ils étaient meilleurs que les autres parce qu'ils observaient soigneusement certaines ordonnances extérieures.

L'"Épître aux Galates" est un livre du Nouveau Testament. Cette lettre est envoyée par l'apôtre Paul aux églises de Galatie. La date de rédaction est estimée entre 47 et 58 de notre ère, mais la plupart des historiens s'accordent sur une datation autour de 50/51 soit une vingtaine d'années après la crucifixion de Jésus. Il se qualifie comme "apôtre, non de la part des hommes ni par l'intermédiaire d'un homme, mais par Jésus-Christ et Dieu le Père qui l'a ressuscité des morts."

La "1ère épître à Timothée" est un livre du Nouveau Testament. Avec la deuxième épître à Timothée et l'épître à Tite, elle fait partie des trois "épîtres pastorales" ou "trito-pauliniennes", dues à des disciples tardifs de l'apôtre Paul. Paul avait laissé Timothée à Éphèse, dans l'intention d'y retourner plus tard. Mais il pensait qu'il risquait d'être retardé. La lettre est adressée au disciple Timothée, peut-être de Macédoine, pour lui donner des conseils et des encouragements sur l'accomplissement de son ministère.

La "1ère épître aux Thessaloniciens" est un livre du Nouveau Testament. L'épître est envoyée par l'apôtre Paul, depuis la ville de Corinthe, à l'Église de Thessalonique, au cours de sa première visite en Europe. Selon toute vraisemblance, elle a été écrite en 50-51. De ce fait, il s'agit du plus ancien écrit du Nouveau Testament. Son œuvre en Thessalonique est décrite dans Actes 17. Il voulait y retourner mais ne put le faire (1 Th 2:18). Il envoya donc Timothée réconforter les convertis et leur dire comment il allait.
