A rich articulation of John Wesley's theology that is appreciative of the old and mindful of the new, faithful to the past, and attentive to the present. This work carefully displays John Wesley's 18th century theology in its own distinct historical and social location, but then transitions to the 21st century through the introduction of contemporary issues.

I wrote these books, Part One and Part Two, for all those who demanded of me believable answers to their thoughtful and intelligent questions. With or without me, these people so often found themselves in the presence of the Risen Christ and subsequently had even more questions about Jesus of Nazareth. He was and is to them the man Jesus, before the transformation wrought by the resurrection. Our subsequent myths have bred confusion, making Jesus of Nazareth remote and incomprehensible and the Risen Christ an unrelated magical figure.

Finding Me: A Woman's Theology of Self-Identification was written in partial fulfillment for my Master of Sacred Theology Degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. The premise for this book is to take a specific look at women of faith who have had the eyes of their understanding opened as they read, reflected, and reassessed how they understand the Bible along with how they understand themselves in God's eyes.

God's identity is beyond what we could ever fully express in human words. But Scripture uses one particular word to describe the distinctiveness of God's character: the Hebrew word hesed.
