Time Philosophy

We follow the Socker family through many adventures, from encountering the slobbery mouth of the family dog to meeting Santa as he comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve to helping a fireman save a baby to the most shy Socker going to the school dance for the first time. Thanks to the time-travel opportunities afforded by the spin cycle of the washer, they learn about some of the most important humans in the world.

Colin Wilson was a popular author and philosopher. His first book The Outsider (1956), which made him famous overnight, was an examination of the social "outsider" found in the works of Sartre, Camus, Dosteyevsky, and more. This study by Tim Dalgleish of Wilson's New Existentialism uses Sartre and Freud as a lens through which to examine Wilson's ideas.

In telling this story, I am not interested in taking any side. I just want to tell the story of how one small nation and a small group of people have had the tenacity and courage to defy the odds and preserve an ancient culture that has become the epicenter of not just conflict but religion, philosophy and human society as a whole.
