True Christ

From boyhood, we search for heroes, starting with our fathers. But somewhere along the way, all our heroes disappoint us. And our attempts to be a hero fair no better, leaving us confused and unsure. Yet the heroic longing never leaves us. We want to be that heroic man, but we do not know how. Jesus does. He is the great hero of all time. And he calls men to follow him. As we follow, we will quickly realize that the path is surprising.

Innocent men go to prison. There is no denying the fact that overzealous prosecution, bigotry, misplaced agendas, and political expediencies pervade the criminal justice system. The precept of innocent until proven guilty in this country is a farce of the first magnitude. The police, courts, jails, prisons, and parole systems operate at the whims of a shadowy elite cadre of men and women who profess to be working in the best interest of society. Hutch is one such victim of the American justice system.
