Union Wit Christ

God loves you incredibly, faithfully, and with a kind of love that is beyond compare. In fact, God wants you to so thoroughly understand and be encompassed by his love that he gave you a picture of it! God reveals this picture in the God-ordained covenant of marriage. While Our Union with Christ is not a typical book on marriage, it reveals the relationship Jesus has with his Church. The apostle Paul speaks of the marriage relationship between a husband and wife and Christ and the Church in Ephesians 5 and refers to it as a “great mystery.”

Union tells the story of the struggle to create a national myth for the United States, one that could hold its rival regional cultures together and forge an American nationhood.

The setting is Boston, Fall of 1969. Radical groups plot revolution, runaway kids prowl the streets, cops are at their wits end, and work is hard to get, even for hookers. Hobie McNutt, a 17-year-old runaway from West Virginia drifts into a commune of young revolutionaries. It's a warm, dry place, and the girls are very available. But Hobie becomes involved in an increasingly vicious struggle for power in the group, and in the mounting violence of their political actions.
