Vietnam War Biography

Tim O'Brien gave us this intensely personal account of his year as a foot soldier in Vietnam. Gary Linderer volunteered for the Army, then volunteered for Airborne training. When he reached Vietnam in 1968, he was assigned to the famous "Screaming Eagles," the 101st Airborne Division.
