The Art of War is the foremost classic of military strategy and philosophy. It is attributed to Sun Tzu, a great Chinese general who is estimated to have lived in the sixth or seventh century BC. After making the army of the Chinese kingdom of Wu the most powerful in China, Sun Tzu was asked by the king of Wu to compile all of his military knowledge into one document, which became The Art of War.

Behind the Scenes, or Thirty Years a Slave, and Four Years in the White House is the life story of Elizabeth Keckley, a shrewd entrepreneur who, while enslaved, raised enough money to purchase freedom for herself and her son.
