Did you look up at the sky today, or check a weather forecast? We can’t avoid the influences and impacts of weather. It controls transportation, recreation, aviation, and your planned vacation. Weather is a big factor in our moods, sometimes from something as simple as the difference between a sunny, mild day, and a cloudy, wet day. Weather plays a tremendous role in everyday life around the planet, with extreme cost in dollars and lives when events like hurricanes, ice storms, tornadoes, or heatwaves impact communities and regions.
