Nach der Arbeit und an Wochenenden schrieb Alexander Brändle an seinen Kinderbüchern, Kurzgeschichten und Gedichten - dabei entstand auch das Hörbuch "Duell mit dem Bösen", ein absolut hörenswerter Western! Alexander Brändle (1923-1984) war ein deutscher Kinderbuch- und Science-Fiction-Autor sowie Dichter. Er wurde 1923 als zweites von sieben Kindern in Weingarten/Baden geboren. Nach dem Gymnasium absolvierte er in der Bruchsaler Papiergroßhandlung seiner Tante eine kaufmännische Lehre. Wenig später meldete er sich freiwillig zum Küstendienst der Kriegsmarine und war von 1942 bis 1944 als Funker in Norwegen eingesetzt.
