Radio talk show, lonely-hearts advisor, Desiree King, tells her callers to open themselves to love. However, her track record with men is anything but romantic; it’s an epic fail. Hardin Mills, a confirmed bachelor, thinks Desiree’s lonely heart spot on the radio is fluff. So, they have a friendly competition on the radio station: His failing financial advice show versus her matters of the heart. They make a deal to engage in a fake relationship for one month, to help boost his ratings.
