Shakespeare for Kids adapts the timeless works of Shakespeare into plain English for a younger audience. This story is that of the end of King Richard II's reign during the late 1300s. It is a story of plotting and power, and the first of Shakespeare's four plays about the house of Lancaster. This abridged version is targeted for a younger audience, toning down any violent scenes and presenting the narrative structure in plain English.

Short enough to retain the interest of a younger audience. The Merchant Of Venice is considered a romantic comedy, though has its share of dramatic scenes. A young nobleman wishes to borrow money to spend on a wealthy heiress, but falls foul of an unethical moneylender.

What if good & evil were related? We first meet our hero in a mountain top village where the peace is bound come to an end... "The grass dances in the warm breeze in celebration, back lit by the waning light of an afternoon sun. Today is special. After a long drought, the thirst is finally quenched with the blood of a dove. A lone crow picks at the dying dove. It stands on the dove's broken wing, pinning it down with its crude, reptilian feet."

And when that day finally comes, God keeps His promise to Rahab because of her faithfulness and courage, even making her a relative to Jesus.
