Loved the book, you endured a tremendous ordeal, but like you said you gave it your all and you continue to do the same. I’m amazed how you never made your loss about race when we know darn well America’s dirty little secret had been waiting so long to reclaim their “perceived rightful place”. I am a Canadian from the east coast, I was so hopeful for Kamala as President last year and then so sad when that didn’t happen. A lot of us in Canada cried too. This book was very good, as others said it’s not put down able. Kamala is a star as far as her ability to be clear, compassionate but also tough when needed. She is such a smart cookie. I loved the book, so glad that Kamala narrated it herself. It brought me back to that hope I had. As I listened I was back to believing she was going to win, and at the end I was sad to come back to the reality. Well done to Kamala, run again and keep writing!

Nothing to dislike. I liked the countdown to the election and all the events that Kamala had to attend. Only regret that I live in Canada and couldn’t vote for her

As a connoisseur of political memoirs, I can confidently say that this is the best one I have ever read.

107 Days is straight to the point, unusually candid and consistently engaging. This book avoids the common complaints that other political memoirs have (discretion, fluff, pretension) and takes you directly into one of the most unique presidential campaigns ever as a fly-on-the-wall. A very satisfying read for any political nerd.

Every page of this book is interesting, and Harris proves herself as a terrific narrator with her directness and wonderfully dry sense of humor peppered throughout. In my opinion, this is the best memoir released this year and certainly was deserving of becoming the year’s best-selling memoir shortly after its release. I will certainly be re-visiting this one.

I started listening to 107 Days shortly after 4:00 a.m. the morning it was released. I had planned to set an alarm but didn’t need to—something woke me up just after 4:00, and I decided to dive right in. While a few parts are a little foggy from listening so early, I was awake for most of it, and I found myself completely absorbed.

Harris takes us through the highs and lows of her campaign, but what stood out to me most were her stories about her family, their unwavering support, and the difficult decision-making behind the scenes. She shares these moments with honesty and humanity, making the listener feel part of her journey.

Even though she did not win the election, Harris’s words carry hope for the future—that the next generation will have the courage and opportunity to repair the damage left behind by President Trump. That message stayed with me. As a Canadian, I can’t vote in U.S. elections, but I can reflect on what role I might play in encouraging younger generations here in Canada to stay engaged and not let cynicism take over.

I was also struck by her reminder that America is not defined solely by one leader. About a third of people voted for her, a third voted for Donald, and another third did not vote at all. That reality gives me hope that there are still many Americans who are not anti-Canadian or hostile to the world, and it challenges me to help other Canadians see that we can’t judge all Americans by the actions of one president.

107 Days is more than a campaign memoir—it’s an honest, hopeful, and inspiring story about resilience, family, and the possibility of change. Listening to it left me with respect not just for Harris’s determination, but also with a renewed sense of responsibility as a Canadian to build understanding across borders.

I wish her book tour was coming to Halifax instead of Toronto. I hope some of them are streamed on YouTube so I can watch at home.

VP Harris tells her story from her perspective. She does it calmly and methodically. I'm Canadian so hard for me to read between all the lines. But it really looked like then, and still looks like now, she got a raw deal. Frankly - it would appear true that the Bidens are ego driven and had Pres Biden held to his promise of being a one term president - the world would look very different.
