The year 1866 was marked by a unique incident, a mysterious and inexplicable phenomenon, and rumors agitated the maritime population and excited the public mind, especially seafaring men. Didn’t enjoy most parts

Narrator is way too fast for no reason. There’s a speedup option if I wanted to speed it up. Novel gets boring and dry too much as well.
