Story is a bit disjointed. I felt that there were phrases reused from other books. The characters don’t seem to grow in their positions.

Didn’t enjoy this one - ended up returning it. The story was slow and contrived. Also couldn’t stand how the narrator did the kid’s voice!

Characters seemed carbon copies of past writing. Change of names and sceneries with action at predictable intervals. Just got old real fast.
