Great intro to Foraging

I bought this book last week and crunched it in one day. I plan to go back and listen to it again after I print the book PDF (which is included in the purchase of the audio book) with the beautiful pictures that accompany the text. I loved the introduction, the information on how to prepare for foraging, etiquette, and the overall perspective on this topic that is given before we are even introduced to the 31 featured wild plants.. The background and description of each plant was thorough and clear, as was where and how to find them, harvest them, and how to prepare them, with any warnings about look-alikes and contraindications. The narrator's voice and pace was also perfectly matched to the tone and spirit of this book. It was a treat to listen to, and inspired me to begin harvesting wild plants this summer. I highly recommend this audio book to anyone interested learning to forage, or even who to those just want to listen to an engaging book about an interesting topic.
