highly enjoyable overview
this ended up being a delightful listen. I appreciated the variety of spiritual samplings, as well as how condensed the overviews were.
I do wish the author would have included chapters on Sikhism, Rumi, and Baha'i. To represent modern Christian spiritual readings, Thomas Merton would have been a much better choice than Rick Warren. but again, overall I'm very impressed, and I learned of some spiritual writings that I will definitely be following up on, like The Places That Scare You.
I will be checking out other offerings by this author now, like 50 psychological classics.
