About this listen

This audiobook is not only a memoir of a suicide attempt, it is also a lifeline, a message of hope to those who are struggling. If you're in a dark place or feel close to breaking, know that you're not alone.

I was once at the same stage in my journey and found a path from darkness to light. I want to tell you how glad I am that you're having this audiobook because there is "a better way". I offer my story to you, to illustrate that no matter what crosses we carry, it is possible to not only survive but to thrive.

The road may not be easy, but it will be worth it, that I promise you.

This book is a exactly what I need at this time to help our child after an attempted suicide. The book does not offer a quick fix or even an absolute cure. But what is does offer is personal perspective view point of the an individual who is suffering. It’s a good start for one’s road to recovery. Even though each person has their own “PTSD” you can relate to the depressed feelings and coping mechanisms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone struggling right now.

This is a good first step to a safer healthier you.
