À propos de cet audio

Adaptation from "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens

Todd blasts in from the kitchen with a daiquiri in hand. He sets the drink on the table and two things happen simultaneously; Todd jumps onto Bill’s knee and holds out his hand for his twenty bucks. Charles jumps up on the table and buries his beak in Bill’s daiquiri. Every time Bill tries to take a drink, the dog growls and stiffens its legs. If Bill pulls on the glass, the dog’s growl goes up in pitch. If he stops, the pitch goes down. After a bit of practice, Bill succeeds in playing ‘Jingle Bells’ on the furious dog.

“Todd, this one's for you. It's a magical key to a fabulous Incan treasure hidden somewhere in a bus station locker downtown. I just forgot what town.” Bill chuckles, “And if you ever find it, you gotta call your ‘ol Uncle Bill right away.” staring into Todd’s eyes, very serious, “I'm not kidding.”

“I’m gonna try every locker at the bus station!” says Todd.

Tammy holds her racing form clutched to her chest.

“Daddy was going to tell us a Christmas story with ghosts and stuff,” said Tammy.

“Where’s your Dad?” asked Bill.

“Making another pitcher of daiquiris.”

“What about your Mom?”

“She’s making cookies,” Todd announced. “You tell it!”
