This edition of A Course in Miracles is referred to as the "Original Edition" and is the course as it was completed in 1972; this was before there were significant edits in 1975. This edition was discovered in 1999 and was first published by Course in Miracles Society in 2006.

The volumes that you will be listening to here are the Workbook and Manual for Teachers, which are the second and third volumes of the three-volume set: Text, Workbook, and Manual for Teachers. (The Manual for Teachers begins with Chapter 387. Please refer to the PDF cross-reference that is available for download in your Audible Library.) These volumes were scribed by Helen Schucman, with the help of William Thetford, as she listened to an inner voice that identified itself as Jesus.

The narrator, Martin Weber (maz), is a longtime friend and member of CIMS, a musician, and, of course, a student of A Course in Miracles. Maz sits with the material in meditation before he begins his recording and then adds music that he has composed for a perfect accompaniment.

A beautiful piece of art. Maz, the artist who composed the music and narrated the readings, made the consumption of this knowledge truly experiential for the listener which powerfully supports in the integration of these learnings. I highly recommend.

ACIM is the most powerfully radical spiritual method I have ever come across and this version with the incredibly beautiful soothing voice and the divine music.. really make me feel like Jesus himself is softly leading me into meditation.. I love it so so so much. Truly a divinely inspired creation. :-) A miracle by itself.. :-) Thank you thank you for creating this.. :-)

Such a soothing voice and music, beautifully paced. It puts you in a meditative state. I'll enjoy listening to each of the lessons for the next year. I would love for the narrator to also read the text for the original edition. A big job I know but I find comparing the edited and unedited versions helps my both understanding and clarity. I also recommend the app version of the ACIM workbook. I began to study ACIM over three years ago. I find going back again after studying Abraham-Hicks teachings and reading the "Conversations With God" series (I've experienced miracles every day since studying both and have no doubt they are genuine) have made it far easier for me to understand A Course In Miracles - but even the first reading had a profound and positive effect on my life and happiness. If you seek happiness and peace this is for you. There are many paths to align with your inner being (or holy spirit) but this is a wonderful one. I've let go of all fear in my life and live with joy and unconditional love and this has opened up my life up to miracles. I highly recommend all the Abraham-Hicks books to everyone and also Wayne Dyer's "Power of Intent" and his meditations. I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Wayne Dyer for recommending "Ask And It Is Given" to me. <3
