Publisher's Summary

Are you truly taking care of yourself? Or are you too busy taking care of everyone else?

So many of us find it easier to love other people than to love ourselves. We struggle to put our own needs first and have a hard time asking for what we want let alone going after it. Instead, we attach ourselves to selfish people trying over and over to win love from those who simply can’t offer it.

If that sounds familiar, you may be the victim of narcissistic abuse. In A Cult of One, Richard Grannon exposes the insidious effects of narcissistic abuse and shares his own winding road to recognition and recovery. Through martial arts, mysticism, psychedelics, and psychology spanning over four continents and 44 years of life, Grannon discovered a systematic discipline for healing. Join him as he explains step-by-step with courage, humor, and optimism how to forge your own path to a better life.

Great insights!

As someone recovering from the effects of a long term intimate relationshit with an extremely disordered woman, I found this book very helpful. Richard's work helped me break the trauma bonds after I ended it, and this and his ongoing work has helped look within myself for answers as to why I let it go on as long as I did.

Well done!

What our species needs to hear rn

I loved it. It all resonates deeply. Too deeply unfortunately, and sadly.
But it did help me feel understood and seen, and not alone in my way of thinking about love, relationships, humans, and life in general. This education should be taught prior to people even dating, in my opinion.
Thank you for your time and thoughts Richard. You truly are making a much needed difference by exposing “the game” of it all. Thank god…I’m so sick of it all 💆🏻‍♀️ keep fighting the good fight, I look forward to sending you the invite to the retreat 🤟🥷💪🔥❤️☯️🖖☮️🦋

Narcissistic Self-Indulgence

These are the mediocre ramblings of a YouTuber with no insight. He spends infinitely more time discussing his fondness for martial arts and psychedelics than he does giving useful advice or information. I tried to give it a chance, but as soon as he said he listened to Jordan Peterson lectures as leisure, I turned it off. A waste of an Audible credit and not useful to me at all.
