Story and narration are both a good listen. Recommend this audio book. Easy to follow

Well done

I enjoyed that A Death a the Party wasn’t riveting but rather a slow burn. Instead of feeling like I “couldn’t put it down,” I was able to pace the listen. The story and characters held my interest but I didn’t rush to finish. It was a good story, but won’t be a stand out from all the other murder mysteries/thrillers I have read or listened to. I found the reader a little slow so I upped the pace to 1.1, which I don’t often do. It improved the reading pace for me.

Hard to put down!! Very intriguing read, love the back and forth between past and present and the characters were easy to know and follow. The preparation for the party had a very Mrs. Dalloway feel - great read!!
