what happened to the series

Great narration. That being said the previous books had flaws but were funny as hell but this book is just flawed. The characters ooze insecurity, jealousy, pettyness and immaturity. It feels like they developed backwards. All the annoying bickering between the girls and the way toffle acts is pitifull, hardly entertaining in any way. also strange that Ver seems to get less intelligent as time passes. he was never bright but I feel hes written to be an idiot just to try and make a scene humorous rather then it being the way the character would develop naturally. Lastly the relationship with alice and the skeleton is an epic fail skelly was the best points of humour in the last 2 books now hes just boring.
