Publisher's Summary
It’s not nice to mess with Mother Nature. Really, it’s not.
This is simply not my week. Finding out I can’t cook is appalling. My luncheon with the big-boned Immortal socialites went to Hell in a handbasket. I’ve been hoping to join the Fearsome Five and make it the Psycho Six. However, the chances of that happening now are looking slim. Of course, I could force my way in since I’m Mother freakin’ Nature, but I want to be accepted for being me - and because I’m fabulous.
It’s bad enough my two sons, God and Satan, are driving me to crazy town while my best friend, Mr. Rogers, is riding in the backseat having a breakdown. It’s definitely not a beautiful day in the neighborhood of Purgatory....
God has taken up softball and is impossible to get ahold of just when I need to chat with him about the impending end of the world.
And Satan. Satan has agreed to grocery shop with me so I don’t show up at his next poker game in Hell and pole dance. See, I’m certain if I find the famous chef Betsy Cocker and learn to cook I can halt the end times. According to the internet, she resides in aisle three.
What I really want is to be left alone with Bill - the love of my Immortal life. And for the world to not come to a cataclysmic and fiery end because that is unacceptable. God tells me the end times aren’t on his schedule, but the strange days afoot and the physical changes in Bill tell me otherwise.
And I would know. Normally, I create all the strange days.
There is no storm strong enough to defeat me. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Mother Nature. I am the mother humpin’ storm.
And it’s not over until I say it’s over.

Amazing Story
I’m very fond of this family. Their kind of dysfunctional but they are all big hearted, loyal and fun. They’re always there for each other too. Gigi’s story is hilarious and completely captivating. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was coming. All the while laughing so hard my sides hurt.
I greatly enjoyed the narration. Romy Nordlinger did a lovely job bringing Gigi’s story to life.
After a long day this was the perfect book to listen to.

Wrong narrator
This is a prime example of how a bad narrator can ruin a book. You need to return to the original voice talent for the Hot Damn series( book 1- Astrid). This narrator does not have comic timing or dramatization... I am returning this book even though I have the rest of the series. I will buy it again if it is released again with another narrator.

Mother Nature
Mother Nature has a strange dream visit to give her a mission to save everyone and this time it’s not her cooking that is the issue. The only thing to save everyone is to bring Satan and God together for dinner and to cook this she needs the help from Boopsey Cocker.
if you are offended by fowl language, sexy time and violence from Mother Nature don’t pick it up but you will miss out big time. Robyn does it again and with this one you don’t need to read the other books to understand, she does a great job with this.
Romy does a great job with the narration and brings Gaia to life.

FABULOUS....
Robyn Peterman is right up at the top of my list of authors I follow and read everything right. In fact I usually re-read everything she has written then get the audio. This book is one I've been waiting for because you don't mess with Mother Nature, especially when her sons are Jesus and the Devil ;) The crazy, out of this world things that happen to her defy all that is within the realm of your imagination and the things that come out of her mouth,... Now she is on another grand adventure that you really have to read to believe,
This world is like none you will ever visit and way cooler than anything on earth so check it out. You will probably get a few laughs, shake your head a few times, then laugh some more, but I really enjoyed listening to the book being read to me while I worked and drove around.

Wrong narrator chosen
I absolutely adore this series but this narrator is all wrong for this book and hard to keep interest. Her take on the characters personalities are so far from what has been previously presented and grown it really does leave a poor taste in your mouth. It’s like she’d never even listened to the previous books in this series and their particular attitudes or nuances. Disappointing but Robyn as usual is hilarious. Please bring back some of the previous voice talents for the next! Please?

Struggling to finish this narrator
I’ve loved all the narrators in this series until this one. Sounds like a kindergarten teacher reading hungry caterpillar. Timing is not right for the story.
