It's good, it's good in the same way Love is Blind is good. You know it's not art, but it's still a good time

The voice acting is mid, and the male voices that the female voice actor tries to do are not awesome, but that's okay

Rince and repeat over and over again. F narrator made a bad ass vampire talk like she was in legally blonde. It was so cringy.

The story was very cute and contained so much adorable innocence. The story did not contain the mature emotional components of what I usually expect in stories of long lived creatures but it was a nice change to read something less spicy and slow moving with a cute tone. The voice actors added a nice touch to the story. But that’s my take. Hope you enjoy it as well.

I made it all the way through, just barely. Too much idiot angst - FMC is supposed to be tough and capable but has the reasoning and self regulation skills of a 15yo. And a lot of the internal dialogue feels like what a teenager thinks 20-something sound like.

If you want a pretty straightforward story with a “cliffhanger” ending it’s fine. But I won’t spend money on other books in the series.

this book had the potential to be good but it was the same shit for 12 hrs. This book could have literally been cut in half and still get the same point across. If I wasn't a weirdo who doesn't allow myself to DNF I would have never finished this book. Plus side is the narration was good. I'd listen to them again.
