Publisher's Summary

NATIONAL BESTSELLER

It never gets better, but it does get easier. That's the first thing Roz says to anyone who asks him for advice. Anyone who's fighting like hell, just hanging on or putting the pieces back together. When you're broken, fixed becomes an obsession.

Roz is a multi-platform entertainer and storyteller who hosts three shows a day and sleeps five hours a night. On The Roz & Mocha Show, ET Canada Live and Entertainment Tonight Canada Roz built an audience and turned them into family. But as with most families, there is just some shit we don't talk about.

From growing up in a small town to getting lost, drunk and terrified in New York while interning for The Howard Stern Show; from finding comfort in the arms and beds of strangers to kicking an opioid addiction he didn't know he had; from broken bones to broken hearts and a broken marriage. From navigating grief and guilt following the devastating loss of his father to persevering in the face of an ongoing and private battle with his own body. All is shared in Roz's disarming signature blend of blunt truth and humor.

A Little Bit Broken is a deeply personal and inspiring account of self-forgiveness, redemption and recovering from bad choices—because let's face it, the reason we make bad choices is that they usually feel really good. And Roz has made them all. "This book is the whole story I've never shared before. . . . This is the shit we don’t talk about. Welcome to the family."

What the critics say

"Weston's memoir [is] a riveting, emotional romp. . . . Refreshingly candid. . . . Weston tells all about his life so far—the people he has met, the places he has been—while presenting incisive looks at his own behavior and thoughts. . . . He certainly has a knack for offering both insight and amusement.." —Winnipeg Free Press

This book made me love Roz Weston even more!

Since I started listening to his radio show I’ve always thought Roz Weston was smart, witty, different and deep. I enjoyed listening to him give advice to listeners and would always think “this man has a lot of life smarts”! Now I understand where this knowledge came from. A Little Bit Broken was a gem! I laughed and I cried and I smiled. This book was so deep and personal and raw but also uplifting and enlightening. A fantastic read!

Raw Emotions & Heart Songs

Wow! listened to it all in 2 days. Would have been 1 if I did not need to work/sleep. So much life lived in a short period of time. No sugar coated excuses, laugh, cry, shake your head, gasp in amazement, Rollercoaster ride. I cannot recommend this book enough. Thank you Roz for allowing us to take a peek behind the curtain. Dreams do come true. Three peas in a pod, living the dream.

Vulnerable and Life Changing

Roz Weston has been part of my morning routine since I was 17 years old. Now at 30, this book was just what I need to really think about what is important in life. Roz opens up about the hardest and vulnerable moments of his life. I appreciated hearing about the good, the bad, and the ugly. I grew up in Georgetown so I loved hearing about his life in Acton and laughed when he said “Georgetown girls don’t date Acton guys” because I definitely did 🤣 The book will make you laugh and cry and ponder your life. Well done Roz!
