I saw the book on TikTok and i got lost in the world and the characters, I wish I had friends like them.. It brought back memories of my childhood best friend/first love that I hopefully never forget, when one of the main characters passed it made me think of how I felt when I lost my best friend the woman I thought I was going to marry.. but the book ended peacefully, I will definitely be listening to this again, highly recommend!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone. It’s heavy one I had to break up my reading even though I was so pulled in to the desire to keep reading because I was getting pulled back to my past self.

The realism of the darkness

The topics being dealt with as you get into the novel can be difficult to "digest". I was a well told story, but felt very drawn out at times which made this read a lot longer than I feel it needed to be. The subject matter that was addressed later in the book was a bit too dark for me.
