Publisher's Summary

The number-one best-selling series returns with a thrilling new story arc set in America!

Vintage photographs reveal the never-before-seen world of peculiar America with a stunning addition - full-color images.

Having defeated the monstrous threat that nearly destroyed the peculiar world, Jacob Portman is back where his story began, in Florida. Except now Miss Peregrine, Emma, and their peculiar friends are with him, and doing their best to blend in. But carefree days of beach visits and normalling lessons are soon interrupted by a discovery - a subterranean bunker that belonged to Jacob’s grandfather, Abe.

Clues to Abe’s double-life as a peculiar operative start to emerge, secrets long hidden in plain sight. And Jacob begins to learn about the dangerous legacy he has inherited - truths that were part of him long before he walked into Miss Peregrine’s time loop.

Now, the stakes are higher than ever as Jacob and his friends are thrust into the untamed landscape of American peculiardom - a world with few ymbrynes, or rules - that none of them understand. New wonders, and dangers, await in this brilliant next chapter for Miss Peregrine’s peculiar children.

Includes a bonus PDF with haunting vintage photographs that reveal the never-before-seen world of peculiar America with a stunning addition - full-color images.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the bonus PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Missing chapters

The majority of the first chapter is missing. There is info required to understand chapter two that is missing. Nothing says whether or not this title is abridged.

Cliffhanger

So many answers led to so many new questions! Captivating, engaging, raw human struggles and emotions!

Great narration, boring story

The book’s plot is almost non-existent, and the characters are very boring. Especially Jacob. He had no personality. And there are way too many characters. I hate when authors introduce new characters all the way up to the end.

Great read!

This book continues right after the 3rd book. I enjoyed reading it and Ransom’s writing. Kirby Heyborne did a great job, as always.

The ending is at a climactic point, which is only annoying because now I have to WAIT to see what happens next. When is the next book coming out??!

I recommend for anyone who enjoyed the first 3 books of the series.

If you've read this series, read this one

If you have read all the other books in this series, then of course you need to read this one. It's just as good as the rest of the books in this series. It was interesting hearing the characters adapt to modern times and I enjoyed the new characters that were introduced in this book and look forward to the next book.

Hooked

I am hooked to want to know what will happen next, but it was a bit harder to stay focused to than the other 3 books. I will still buy the 5th.
