Good.
A good second installment for this series. Short but quite suspenseful. The first book is still the best though!

wow!
Excellent! I could not turn it off. These characters were well developed and the narrator, again, does a wonderful job.

When did Isabel become Sasha?
Excellent story! I re-listened to The Magpies to refresh my memory, before listening to this book. In the first book, Kirsti's daughter was named Isabel. But in this book her daughter is Sasha. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

Slow start, quick finish
It took me soooo long to finish it! Nothing great happens until like chapter 9. Once it did start to get good it ended very quickly, almost like the writer rushed. I also read the second book but it seems like it all should have been apart of the first. Not a terrible srory but not his best. I decided to read this on after reading his new novel The House Guest and now I'm a little disappointed. This book had quiteba few sex scenes as well that I felt were unnecessary.

yes!!!
if you haven't read The Magpies stop and read that first. You will not understand the hatred and need for revenge this book plays on.
from start to finish I loved this book.

Predictable
Disappointed after such a good first book The Magpies. This was unfortunately boring and predictable

I saw the plot set up a mile away. I wouldn’t say it was bad but def not great.
