Publisher's Summary

There are a lot of places I’d rather spend Christmas Eve morning than on a cold, snowy sidewalk outside someone else’s home. I’d kill to be sitting beside a fireplace, drinking cocoa, wearing flannel pajamas, and reading a book.

Instead, I’m here, standing in front of my one-night stand’s house, working up the courage to ring the doorbell and tell him I’m pregnant.

I hate that term—one-night stand. It sounds so cheap and sleazy. Tobias Holiday is neither of those things. He’s handsome and caring. Witty and charismatic. And once, a long time ago, he was mine.

Our one-night reunion was only supposed to be a hookup. A fling with an old lover. A parting farewell before I moved to London and put my feelings for him an ocean away. How exactly am I supposed to explain that to Tobias that I’m having a baby? His baby? Maybe I could sing it. He always loved the silly songs I made up in the shower.

Three French hens, two turtle doves.

And a partridge and a pregnancy.

Cute predicable holiday book

This book was your typical “the one who got away” book.

They feel in love in college but come graduation they wanted different things, one wanted marriage the other to travel the world, so they broke up.

Years later they had a random hook up and bam she’s pregnant.

The book was cute enough but kinda annoying, everything would have been cleared up if they just had an open conversation. He was afraid if getting hurt again and she wanted him to ask her to stay.

It ends well but this wasn’t my favourite of the three books. The spice was good though 👍

Cheesy and enjoyable

Bit of a classic story of when two folks love each other but do not communicate it. Overall, adorable with some solid NSFW bits.

A feel good “film” mixed with soft porn

I think the title says it all… I would not recommend listening to it on the subway or at work, it gets frisky.

A good series

This is a fun light christmas series, it all takes place a few days before christmas and the week between christmas and new years. All three books are set on the same time line. Thats important to know, and helps with the other books so we dont get confused on time lines.

All have a one year later epiloge which I love. And the epiloge takes place at the same location in all 3 books.

I enjoyed this Ms. Nash, thank you for the dual narration.

Mixed feelings…

I am going all over the place with this rating and here's why..

I was originally going to give it a 3-4 because I don't typically enjoy any pregnancy trope but this happened right within the first sentences. It seemed like it was going in the direction of these two who separated and came back together to figure out how this whole pregnancy is going to work with both of them living two different lives. By the end of the novella, that wasn't the case.

Having some time to think about this one, I'm deciding to change my rating to a 2. Every "problem" they faced she was always the one sacrificing things. This quickly took a turn by the end of the novella because he "put on hold" his life in Montana to move with her to London. I really dislike the miscommunication trope, like REALLY dislike it. I don't think I need to explain lol. There was also a OW (other woman) drama..

Lastly, I wouldn't really label this as a holiday novella (I will for the sake of the title and series name). The only holiday thing about it was his parents annual Christmas party.

** I forgot to mention, I didn’t like the female narrator she was very monotone.
