LKH has done it again
I love this new character, Zaniel. as proven, Laurell has created an in depth character whose actions and thought processes are so authentic that you can't help but feel the way he does and understand why he does the things he does. Bravo, can't wait til the next!

once you get over the different voice it suites the characters and the excellent story.. can't wait for the next one! worth it..every second!

Disappointing
So disappointed. The story, the narrator.
I was so excited for this new series. Love all of LKH’s books to date. I’m not disappointed that this one wasn’t as spicy as the others, but it was very, very dry. I kept on with it hoping that it would get better, but sadly it didn’t. There was a lot of details, but it was boring. The narrator sounded as though he was just reading the words - disconnected from the story. It was not awesome :(. Hopefully the next will be better.

I was actually disappointed in this story. I have all of Laura k hamilton books. This one just didn't live up to her storytelling.
