All of the characters are beautifully made and have their own personalities. Finley did not just fall in love with her capture, she was let free and got answers and then fell in love with someone who treated her well. I wish I could be Finley in this series and experience what she has. This is my new favourite series ever.

I am in love with the narrator. I think I would listen to anything she read. The story is hilarious, so much smut, but it's funny smut, or I found it funny. this series is getting better. looking forward to the next book

Another fun and spicy read for those who enjoy dark fantasy, shapeshifters, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, touch her and die, dragons and sassy characters!
 
Finley and Nyfain continue their EXTRA spicy love affair and we get to learn a bit more about both of their backstories. I adored their letters to each other and their book recommendations (which lead to even spicier scenes later on IYKYK).

Hadriel is still my favourite character in the book. His sassy attitude, outfits and the fact he is terrified to be alone with Nyfain just crack me up.

I still found the plot a bit hard to follow at times but I enjoyed how the cliffhanger ending wanted me to immediately pick up the third book.

Loving this series. much spicier than previous books by this author but I love that. Still has that off beat tongue in cheek humour that make me stop and laugh at inappropriate time! Narrator did amazing at voice changes and speech patterns to bring it to life!

There is a really great story here, and I can’t believe I am saying it- but it seems the sex scenes get a bit gratuitous. They get in the way of what is essentially a great story - you can just fast forward through those gratuitous scenes though. If the author had cut out 1/3 of them the story would still be hot and it would flow better. I think the editor could have done a better job of wrangling the story.

There are great side characters here and we are seeing more of this world. It’s a great read otherwise and very well performed. The two main characters write letters to each other- which is a blast.

Overall the story is funny, and entertaining- we’re getting more action “out of the sack” and advancing the plot. It’s definitely well performed.

the writing is amazing. I'm soo engulfed in this world and the characters and I can't get enough.
The naughty scenes are a bit drawn out but I still enjoy it. I cannot wait to read more.
