À propos de cet audio
A Child Lost. A Secret Buried. A Trial That Changes Everything.
When a pregnant woman is brutally attacked and left in a coma, a terrified town demands justice—fast. Police arrest the last person seen with her: nonverbal special-needs man who is caught in the act. Overnight, the case becomes a media firestorm, and the calls for the death penalty grow louder.
Prosecutor Lori Franks is determined to win—no matter the cost.
Years ago, she sought an abortion. Now she’s seeking the ultimate punishment for the man accused of doing the same thing she once tried to do: take an innocent life. But when a routine DNA test exposes a devastating truth—that her own child was switched at birth—Lori is thrust into a custody battle for the baby she once rejected…and cannot imagine losing now.
Defense attorney Danial Solomon has spent years running from his past.
But when he takes the case, he steps into the fight of his life. The deeper he digs, the more he uncovers a tangled web of corruption, deception, and hidden motives—one that places his client, his career, and even his life in grave danger.
As the trial races toward a verdict, Danial must confront not only the broken justice system…but the brokenness inside himself. The truth may set them free—but only if it doesn’t destroy them first.
A Trial of Innocents is a gripping, faith-filled legal thriller packed with moral tension, layered characters, and impossible choices. Perfect for fans of John Grisham, Robert Whitlow, and legal drama with heart, hope, and high stakes.

Admittedly, the main plotline pacing is outstanding, the description unbelievably vivid, and the plotting is satisfyingly intricate.. but even beyond the disruptive proselytizing agenda, the execution is subpar. The book isn't terribly well-written and failed to captivate me.
As to presentation: reader Rory Young is a talented voice-actor.. but has a robotic cadence that renders his performance "average" overall. Michael Swiger Publishing Inc. could have gotten similarly effective results from any SAG-AFTRA professional.
Altogether, 'A Trial Of Innocents' merits 5 stars out of 10. It was a reasonable distraction for a couple of quiet afternoons.. but not worth your Credit if it leaves the 'Plus' menu. I thought about downloading the next book in the 'Innocents Series' on the strength of solid twisty plotting - but the blunt messaging and amateurish writing overruled that decision.
[Incidentally: I'm a practicing Christian and believe in many of the same things as the author - but the portrayals of almost every non-believer in this book is actually offensive]
Meh. Not Terrible.
